A very beautiful and safe place to walk/run lots of people so it's not lonely. I've seen turtles, fish, birds, ducks in the water. A great place to experience nature and its also connected to the rose garden. They have picnic tables, and pavilion for fun gatherings, and a play ground for kids. Lots of dog walkers too.
Sunday June 18 2023nnMy husband, our one year old, our seven month old and my pregnant self visited Cherokee lake park today. It was pretty nice! There's a little park and a picnic area. Nearby There's the lovely rose garden.nnThis place is stroller accessible. If you need to take a break there are benches all along the trail. There are ducks, geese, squirrels, and turtles everywhere. The animals were all fun to watch especially for kids. There's a sign that tells you what you can and can't feed the animals here.

Nice little park behind a beautiful rose garden. Park has a walking trail, fitness stops, playground, pecan trees, picnic tables under a pavilion, benches, BBQ grills, fairly clean restrooms with decent toilet paper and of course, a lake... with a fountain. Nice place to hang awhile and chill.
Beautiful park! Very clean and well maintained. The day I visit it was filled with family, people walking their pets and kids playing together. I love flowers and I took time to park in front of the roses with the gazebo! To see the many pattern of color or roses reminds me of a rainbow . The pond is also beautiful, nice size and the area around it was clean. This is a park for family,quiet walks, relaxing , a place to go for meditation and even a small lunch date in between!!
Loved it there. The scenery and wildlife make it so peaceful.
