This park seems almost like a lost park. Every time we go to it there's never anyone there. Very, very nice baseball/softball fields. I mean top notch. And the running track just below the fields is top notch as well. When I was in highschool, all we had was an asphalt running track. This running track is allot perfect as far as softness/hardness. Very, very nice. Well done Forest City.
The park has slides and plenty of things to keep a younger child busy. The area could be a little cleaner but is usually empty so my son can get the park to himself. A paved walking path circles the area near the playground. There is a place to sit and have lunch with tables. It would be nice if there were benches for parents to sit closer to the playground. Overall good experience.

There is a playground but its rather small. The bathrooms are hit or Miss on if they are locked or not so i recommend going potty BEFORE you arrive.nnThere IS covered sitting but there’s only 1 picnic table under it with 4 bench seats.nnThis park is designed for sports, not for kids at play.
Nice place to walk. Grounds are well kept. I love this park!
Charles R.Summey park is a great park to bring your children to play it is very safe and has a picnic area and a pavilion that you can rent for parties or large family get togethers. It has clean and well stocked restrooms .
