My family came to OC for fathers day weekend. On a slow night with nothing else to do we stumbled into captive escape rooms across from our hotel. It was my first time visiting an escape room but my family ended up coming back 2 more times the next day we loved it so much. The themes were fun and the rooms were challenging but not too hard it wasn't enjoyable. We were lead through 2/3 rooms by Joshua. He was super friendly and informative and made us all feel confident and fully prepared for the rooms. He seemed to genuinely care about our experience and definitely made us want to come back. Definitely recommend a visit. We only had 3 members but didn't find it hindered us in any way.nTLDR: Staff is great and rooms are tons of fun! Must visit!!
I am an experienced escape room player, and would rate this as one of my top experiences. I did the Blind Tiger with family (aged 15 to grandparent age) and we all had a great time despite conflicting personalities. The staff was wonderful and enjoyed the job. Got to learn a bit about how the rooms are made which was great! The puzzles were difficult but really fun, and we only needed one hint. Would 100% recommend.
We did the Pieces of 8 Pirate themed room. We had such a great time! It was challenging and fun! We will definitely be back to try another room. Awesome staff, too!
It was amazing! We did the Pieces of 8! We found so many clues and it was a great experience! Josh and Aiden were so nice and helped us when we couldn’t find our next clue!
This is our second time doing an escape room, and wow this place was great. We did the pieces of eight room with our 9 and 6 year old. They had loved it, the rooms and clues were awesome. Thanks for a really fun break from the sun!
