Always something entertaining to do. We love the basketball courts and the walking trail by the river. Fishing is always a favorite, as well as splashing in the river. Went to the pool this year and the kids had a blast. It was crowded as expected. But it was an extra comfort knowing that all the kids had to take a swim test before allowed to go down the slide.
Nice little city recreation facility. Plenty of space to walk your dog. Plenty of trash cans, too. There are picnic tables under shelters. We stopped to eat our lunch on a day-long drive. There is a public pool with restrooms and tennis courts, too. There is also a parking lot with free parking.

Very nice pool located in Canton. Since the flood, they have redone the pool, and it seems a little smaller. It has a high dive and slide. Also, there are lifeguards on duty at all times. There is usually a food truck located outside the gate to go into the pool. But this is a fun time for the whole family on a sunny day. There isn't any shade, but they have built in some. They have plenty of picnic tables to sit at and benches to sit on. Come by and check them out!!
A little crowded for my taste and not enough places to get out of the sun. Only one area that looked like it was set up for parties, and it was full. We had to sit on the ground, which isn't too bad. They let you bring chairs, but we didn't realize this. I can't be in the sun for long periods of time so we couldn't stay long, but for most people, that might not be a issue. Overall it was clean and the staff were nice. I'm just used to a larger public pool with a lot of chairs and umbrellas. Overall, for a small town, it was a very nice pool area. It was crowded the day we went. I'm not sure if that is the norm. There were several large groups of kids that were bussed in.
Great pool, diving boards, and a water slide. A small water slide and water fountains for little ones to play on. Can bring your own snacks & drinks. Several covered picnic tables outside the pool gates, along with a nice fenced in playground.
