Bounce About of Lynchburg Reviews
We love bounce about!! The drop and shop has been our favorite! It makes our 4 year old feel like a “grown up” because he can stay by himself. All while dad and I get a couple hours just us or with his younger sister. We had his birthday at bounce back in September and we will never have a party at home again. Julia and her staff made it effortless on my part. I actually got to socialize and spend the party with my son. Can’t wait for our youngest to get to enjoy it!
We love it! We get the yearly membership and it pays for itself pretty quickly. We go during the week in the evenings and have just a few kids so they have someone to play with, but not so many that they are hazards. They have snacks, drinks a bathroom, and a water fountain and Wi-Fi. What more could you ask for? They have an area just for a little kids as well. We have been coming here since before the kids could walk. Perfect place to burn some energy especially when it’s too cold, too hot or rainy.
The kids certainly had a good time. We took out grandkids, 1 1/2 & 5. They had a separate section for toddlers. Older kids are not or should not be allowed in unless they are playing with a younger sibling. There is no one watching any of the bouncys to make sure the rules are followed like there would be at an amusement park. So parents should make sure they are keeping a close eye on their kids. There were 5-7 year olds jumping near my 1 year old grandson in the bouncy for toddlers. I had to take him out for fear they would jump on him.
It’s expensive for what it is. $14 on the weekend for ages 2 and above. All the same bounce houses just different looks but all basically the same. The rules are not enforced (socks required, no big kids in the toddler area, one bouncer at a time)nParents are on their phones hanging out and not watching their children - big kids running in and out of inflatables and around facility, knocking younger kids down. The inflatables say “operator must be on duty at all times”, yet there is no staff around… only the person at the front desk.nnIt’s a good idea but needs improvement !
The bounce houses are fun for the kids but the staff sucks at enforcing that kids aren't hurting other kids but will sure fuss about kids not walking and playing with the inflatable designs. In other words go at your own risk
