This place has become a staple to go to when we want to swim without a long walk to the pond. Kids love it, and it is comfortable to sit out there as an adult even if you ain't swimming with the kids. Park pass is worth every penny, and it isn't even a lot less than $30 for a season pass. It is however a Augusta Resident only swimming hole. If you're an Augusta resident and have not been, you are truly missing out.

Excellent spot for a family day for the price ($8/family). Not much of a beach front for small children. If kids are water comfortable, there’s a slide and float they can play on while swimming. Picnic tables and charcoal grills at the location.

Nice place to eat lunch and swim. If anyone in your party isn't a good swimmer, you'll want to make sure they have a life vest, as it drops off pretty quick after the dock. There are 2 floating docks out in the middle. One has a pair of slides that drop you into the water (another thing that non swimmers should avoid). Kids and adults alike love this. Very low price for a quiet day of water fun. There are walking trails and a fishing spot as well. They have a grill near each picnic table, so be sure to have charcoal, a lighter, and metal utensils. Very worth the trip to the outer part of town.

Great place for a nice swim with the family or by yourself. Has picnic tables, a dock, and other things like a fishing area and walking trails. Very clean too and kinda of a hidden gem. It is deep however for swimming. Children should bring floats or life vest to swim. Also recommended swim shoes. Very rocky. But they have a dock with a slide and another dock you can swim to. Overall nice area and very shaded.

I rated it in the middle because it was closed when we went and it said it was open on their page. Waste of a trip and there were 3 disappointed, irritable littles in the back. We had to go find another place to swim. It’s not the first time this has happened. It’s a nice place from what I remember a prior to covid.
