Benson Park Reviews
Benson Park in Hudson is an absolute gem! I recently visited this park and was blown away by its natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. The park is meticulously maintained, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.nnThe lush greenery, scenic trails, and picturesque ponds create a perfect setting for a peaceful stroll or a family picnic. The well-marked paths make it easy to explore the park and enjoy the stunning views at every turn. I particularly loved the variety of wildlife I encountered during my visit, from graceful swans gliding on the water to vibrant birds singing in the trees.nnThe amenities at Benson Park are excellent, with clean restrooms and ample parking available. The park also features a well-equipped playground that kids will adore.nnWhether you're seeking a quiet escape into nature or a fun outing with your family, Benson Park is an ideal destination. It's a true oasis of serenity, and I highly recommend a visit to experience its beauty firsthand.nLots of dogs there.
Very accessible park and hiking trail. The area has historical value. It was once a well known zoo that became abandoned. Through a city project effort, it was restored as a public park.nnThe park is fairly big. You could spend a good hour or two here. The trails are not a challenge and perfect for a family with young ones. There is a good sized playground and open fields. There are some views. And the main attraction are the few elements from the abandoned zoo.nnI used the history of the zoo to tease my kids the place was haunted with zoo animals. The random cages, A-roof picnic area, and the Old Lady's Shoe house add to the lore. The waterfall used to be the old crocidile area.nnOverall, there is a decent amount to do and it's all free. There is also plenty of parking. There is also handicap accessibility, including in the children's playground. If you're looking for some easy community service, you can sign up to help keep the park clean.nnGo check it out!
Nice big outdoor area for the kids or just roaming around. There's places for your functions, (I imagine it's first come first served, but I don't know for certain) a nice little duck pond, a dog park, and a bunch of trails.
We visited from NY!! N I was quite impressed with how clean it was. I love how there is a dog park across the way. What was really memorable was a piece of the world trade center from 911 they put up as a memorial. The people are just so friendly. When we visit again, we are definitely going to go back and adventure more
No charcoal grills are allowed, only gas grills. Gatherings more than 15 people should be agreed. Nice area, large playground, green life.
