This park is probably my favorite in the Fuquay Varina area. It has a great tennis courts, 3 great baseball/ softball fields, outdoor batting cages, and a nice playground that is typically not too busy. If I ever play softball in Fuquay, these are my favorite fields. My sister also loves playing tennis at these courts. There are also bathrooms on site.
Action Park is tucked away with nice baseball fields, tennis courts, and a playground. The playground is appealing to toddlers and bigger kids alike. It's less crowded than other parks in Fuquay-Varina.
Very nice courts. Although with as many people here that play pickleball, I cannot believe they do not have at least 2 designated pickleball courts along with 2 tennis courts. There are lines for playing pickleball on 1 of the tennis courts, as we pickleball players know, you then have to compete with the tennis lines. If you are a pickleball player you have to bring your own nets! Ridiculous!
Great park if you are ready to play some baseball. There is a small playground and batting cages to practice your skills.
EDIT: courts were resurfaced and look great. Last time I checked, there were no benches available though.nnCourts are in terrible shape. One of them doesn't have a net and it's been like this for several months.
