This is the perfect place to spend half a day with the kids after hiking. Our crew looked forward to it all week. I felt like I was on wipeout trying to run the obstacle course 🤣
A very fun thing to do with the kids. I wish they had more shaded seating and seating that wasn’t rigid plastic or wood. I know it’s less likely to break with so many users, but it is definitely not comfortable.

This place is fun and exciting, if only you know swimming. They provide swimming jacket. but if for any reason the jacket does not work properly by some accident, you will be drowned and nobody watching you.nI fell off one of the aired toys, and jacket brough me up, but I couldn't climb up. I shouted multiple times, and finally one of the guest heard me and came to help me. None of the crew care to be around the guest to see what is happening. They just want the money.nSo it is fun, but minimum safety.
We did a half day at the waterpark for $23 after hiking in the morning. We had so much fun! It's a man made lake with an awesome variety of inflatables to keep us busy until closing! We loved jumping on and being launched from the blob, trying to climb to the top of the pyramid, zip lining and much more. There's a nice restaurant, picnic area if you want to bring your own food and lounge chairs to hang out. We'd definitely come back. The only complaint we had was the line for the zip line moved soooo slowly, wish they had another set of harnesses to speed it up.
Love this place. Did the Upper Gauley - Couldn’t ask for a better day. Shepherd was our guide - he is amazing. Enough thrill for the adventure seeker but also tame enough if that’s what you want. Highly recommend.
