This was a tiny parking lot w/a ball field & maybe a pickleball court connected to it. There did look like there was a trail that went around it, & maybe that trail led to something bigger, but at first glance this is a dumpy area, we saw no picnic tables (even though their website said there were) & I believe it was only portable restrooms.
There is one amazing pickleball court, and a baseball diamond. There seems to be room for some more pickleball courts. I would love to see our county invest in some more since the sport has become so popular and it's hard to find open courts. It's a great way for the whole family to get out and have fun and get exercise.
My son & I enjoyed the hike trails as well as the play grounds. The little natural stage and audience set up was cute aswell. Going back soon...
Great facility, plenty of parking, good porta-potty! Gas station nearby for snacks and girl-preferred restroom. Trummer's Coffee and Wine bar nearby is a great place for after-game brunch. Austrian delicacies. 14013 Promenade Commons St, Gainesville, VA 20155
Love this little park with a baseball diamond, pickleball court, and simple amenities in a pretty woodland setting. Just wish it had more than one court so a group could go play!
