St. Albans Festival of Lights Reviews
Lots of trails—more than you might realize unless you do some exploring. Saw a good variety of mushrooms on the longer (1.5-mile) trail in June.
This is a very clean family oriented park which is beside the kanawha river. You can bring your boat, jet ski or fishing craft and enjoy a day on the beautiful Kanawha.nFishing can also be done on the banks mostly catch and release is what i see fisherman doing here.nThere are two shelters first come first serve where you can have parties or celebrations.nThe playground has been remodeled with a locked and a padded fence installed and no dogs allowed in that area.nHowever you can walk your dog on a leash around the park on down the sidewalk path that gives the view of the river and three campsites.nThe bathrooms are always clean when I’m therenThey do a wonderful job maintaining and doing upkeep on this Park Come see for yourself if you haven’t been.
This is a quiet place, beautiful & great for a family outing. The main trail has been redone with new bridges, benches & gravel. The only thing I noticed was that the park needed a wheelchair designated trail. That may be in the future plan.
Beautiful trail, wide graveled trail, lots of beautiful and colorful wildflowers.nBenches to sit and rest
Decent experience for little kids, felt a little outdated
