Family Day for all Chicken of the Sea Employees... had lunch and BINGO
We always have an awesome time skateboarding at this amazing local gem 
but it has been over ten years and we would love to see more added to the beloved skatepark! Such as surveillance cameras, new ramps, different size fun boxes, a spotlight on the unlit side of the park..etcetera...these changes would seriously increase the little parks popularity!!!

I write this review in the hopes that something can be done about the skatepark, as even a car-priced remodel (or less) would work wonders for the ramps. At a glance it looks great and has the potential to be really great, but actually riding it is pretty terrible because the transitions are consistently too aggressive. Every ramp is too steep for its height and more importantly reaches a steeper angle too quickly. Many are basically unridable because of this, and a little extra concrete to make them mellower would fix this. Also the pool bowl needs an appropriate way to drain as it is always full of feet of water.
Well, to say the least, not really pleased with our visit. An area of the park was removed and truly was sadness amongst some children whom have played in the number 4 covered area since they were born. Was nicely fenced in and felt safe to allow my smallest grandchildren play. But, today was truly scary and the biggest disappointment of my visits ever. No restrooms available fir the kids to use had to walk across the biggest area of the parking lot to get to a restroom. Young folks driving through the park area at a high rate of speed lead us to leave and most likely not to return. Can't believe it's gone Number 4such a sad experience.
I love this park because of the shade. The tall pine trees keep it cool and I don't have to worry about lathering my kids in sunscreen just to play. It has a merry-go-round which I haven't seen at a park in years. My kids absolutely love it.
