Beautiful little place with surprisingly lots to do. Especially great for young children. Although it's free, they are a nonprofit with any purchases benefiting manatee preservation, so if you have the ability to donate, you can buy food or souvenirs. We will definitely come back.

We love coming here to see the manatees and other sea creatures! This time we even saw crabs that were climbing the mangroves!nnThis is super kid and family-friendly as there is a cafe, gift shop, sandbox to play with and you can even pet stingrays. There is also an inside conservation information area.

This place was amazing. I'm so glad that they give back to the community like they do as it is free. There is a gift shop, two peirs to walk out onto. They had a petting area for sting rays. They had several beautifully landscaped gardens. These are all just extra perks as far as I'm concerned. The manatees were so very cool!!!

Easy walk to the viewing areas. Sometimes the Manatees are out Sometimes they aren’t. Smooth/flat elevated walkways, plenty of signs to show the local wildlife and what to look for. These are wild manatee so they migrate to warmer waters so if it’s been cold you have a better chance of seeing them than you would if it’s been warm out. Best thing is it’s FREE. Free to park, free to explore. But it can get busy.

This place is amazing, and free!! Parking filled up fast, but they have an overflow parking lot. There were at least thirty manatees in the area when we came, and it’s still pretty warm right now. The observation tower was worth the walk, lots of schools of fish to see and watch them jump. The learning area is geared towards smaller children but was still interesting. Cute gift shop. We didn’t eat onsite, but they did have a place for food and the prices seemed very reasonable.
