My daughter has done tee ball softball and now volleyball through the Hanahan Rec Department. Everyone is always so friendly and happy. The gym smells clean and the restrooms are clean as well! There is also an onsite concession stand. The senior center is across the way and just beyond that is the Hanahan Amphitheater. The Amphitheatre is amazing- with beautiful views! There are programs that the city of Hanahan sponsors throughout the year. For instance this Halloween they are having a trunk or treat, costume contest, and then movies in the park with Hocus Pocus from Disney. Churches perform there once in a while too! I love my small little town!

I've been coaching youth sports for Hanahan Recreation for 2 season and it gets better organized and runs smoother every year. The facilities are very nice and the people care.
I've been going to the Maybelline ball fields for 30 years, and the only thing that could make them better would be if the concessions were open for rec league softball.
One of our parents said “that was a bad call boys, you’re doing great” and the umpire threatened our coaches... that he would kick them out for comments like that. Grow up. Is there a league anywhere without drama? 👎🏽
Friendly staff and very nice facility. I visited the Senior Center. It has quite spaces and activity areas. Lots to do if you're 50 and over.
