Been coming here since I was a teen, renovations have been good but the constant broken lockers in the ladies locker room is a total disgrace and the pool area needs aquatic weights to be used by patrons. The sauna room never seems to get hot (which is point of sauna)
There is a job fair today at the Freeport Recreation Center. Many people showed up. In addition, there are a lot of events held here. There are also a lot of sporting activities for all ages.

What a great resource to our communitty! I mostly go here for the fitness center which is pretty basic but gets the job done. I also love that they have a sauna and steam room and try to take advantage of those every chance I get. The pools are great and I really appreciate the in door pool during the winter months. I haven't used the skating rink yet but look forward to it when I do. All in all you can't beat it for the price. It's an excellent value. I only wish that the music in the gym area was on more of a genre rotation.
Very clean and spacious . staff is friendly and helpful. lots to do lots of programs for both adults and children
