This place is awesome! More towns need to get on board with bringing free activities like this for our youth.nnThe skate park is open to skateboards, scooters, skates, and bikes! They also have a basketball court. Inside the building they have a few things for sale (bike, scooter & board parts), you can rent helmets if needed, borrow basketballs, order a bite to eat or get something to drink, restrooms, and even little indoor activity areas.nnThe community sponsors scheduled events as well.
Probably the best skate park within a pretty sizable driving distance. It’s large, has a great bowl. But more than that it’s safe , clean, and positive. It takes a force of good people and they have it here. True testament to all of the leaders , volunteers , community, and the kids young and old that are there daily. It’s sets a standard for surrounding municipalities still using cost and insurance as obstacles. Restrooms , snack bar, parking , basketball , lights , community events, classes, and more. So I guess this review is more for parents rather than the athletes. You can bring your child here and stay and you’ll see some amazing kids do some amazing things. Should be a model for a successful program for any community with skate park or action sports brought to their meeting agenda.
It was really good, had fun watching the local bands play their song's, such great young talented musicians and refreshments too. Skaters practicing outside.
Great park. 2 nice amoeba bowls one with some nice angles and wall. Small bowl is quick. Nice flatland area also.
Great skate park, clean and new, lots of space and the fact it has lights and a place to get snacks, go to the bathroom or rest from the sun is awesome!
