Clarksburg Splash Zone Reviews
Great time with family! They are here visiting me/on vacation from another state. I wanted to take them somewhere different than usual & it was the perfect day for the pool šāāļø š. We all had a great time & will be back before their vacation ends. Only thing that I found annoying was MANY MANY rules/regulations which are enforcedā¦no outside drink/cooler/gum/food/arm floats for kidsā¦ā¦on & onā¦ (I work in law & get it though)ā¦ main complaint is the snack bar which takes way too long! I get their young teens out working & respect that but they are afraid to even talk & donāt greet you..3-4 stand around up front doing nothing while 1 person takes your order. You canāt take food with you but waiting in line for 40-50 minutes for a snack/drink is crazy but we did it twice. Food= very reasonable price (chicken tenders/fries šš¼ šš¼ but hot dogs were served with tons of mustard/ketchup & very cold). Great time & will be back! Very thankful to have this place close to me š
Great place to cool off during this abysmally hot summer. The life guards were on point about safety and the snack bar didn't disappoint. Lazy river ftw! Be warned the steps in aren't wheelchair accessible ,but they do have a lift poolside for limited mobility access.
Too many unnecessary rules, the biggest being that goggles with nose cover arenāt allowed. My son is finally getting comfortable going under water but doesnāt like water going up his nose. As soon as he got in the pool he was told they werenāt allowed. He got in a couple more times and we left. Wasted a 2 hour trip with his friends for nothing. We should have just stayed at home and swam in our backyard. Wonāt be back.
This is a nice little water park for the family. Couple big slides, some small ones. An area for small kids and a separate area for bigger kids. The lazy river is great..well unless you accidently get the kids tube..yeah..you can guess what happend.. they have discounts for veterans and when you come at 4.
Horrible staff in the food area. Watched the staff get smart with some guy over chili dogs then took my turn when I was waiting for 5 orders of fries. Staff was very argumentative, slow, unorganized and rude. Save your money and time and go to Sheetz across the road. Someone needs to give these young kids some direction on how to talk to the public or to just people period.
