The residents of the Town of Haverstraw should be secure their tax dollars are being well invested in a wonderful resort of a community park, built and maintained in their interest.
My family and I attended the Halloween Festival, and what an amazing experience. The park was clean, organized, people were pleasant and not crowded at all. The parking lot closest to the park was full, so the had us park in another parking lot and they had shuffle buses for us to take us to the park we’re the activities we’re taking place.

I came to this park alone once in the evening. It was beautiful very well kept and quiet. The second time I came in the afternoon at the gates I told them that I was just visiting the park area to walk not the water park and was told it’s $18 per person to just go to park lol I had to turn around because that’s ridiculous! And the park closes at 7?nnI wish there was more flexibility and timing at least during summer/ fall?
I come every year for the watchfire and its always quite a sight to see! The ceremony is beautiful and the fire is exquisite.
